Challenge

#1 I purchased this home as a flip house. The purchase was very challenging because there were a lot of folks bidding on the house so we got into a bidding war. But we were victorious!

#2 Everything in the house was outdated, leaking roof, sagging floors, old broken windows, doors, mold etc. Significant damage was done from the neglect of sitting in foreclosure status for 10 months. After jacking the house up slowly in increments we then had to add a Loly Column for load pressure in the basement that was missed during the original building process.

Solution

First and foremost we had to replace the roof before doing any interior work that was leaking and causing mold. When removing the existing roof we had to replace 45 sheets of rotted plywood.

We then installed GAF Lifetime weathered wood shingles. Replaced all the old leaking windows and doors using Anderson casement windows and Therm Tru doors. Installed Certainteed double 5in. Clap board Clay vinyl siding with desert tan trim and 6in gutters and 3×4 spouts to match. Then we gutted the entire interior of the house and remodeled.

When we were finished with the entire house and getting to put it back on the market something happened. My family and I fell in love with the house so much we decided to sell our house and move in!!
